Who do you actually call to make a DVC reservation? I am guessing it isn't the "guide" right? It's some other line? I forgot to ask my guide last night, and I feel dumb calling them for this silly question. What is that number?
And also, is that the same number you call for booking other hotels on the list? (the green dots in the book). How does that all work? Does Disney do all the work for you and just book you through them or can you call those hotels directly and pay with points?
I am sorry I have so many questions. I was just so excited yesterday when we decided to buy into the DVC, all these questions slipped my mind. Thanks for the help!!! You guys rule!!!

you need to call member services to book reservations. They did explain that you use your points at the DVC resorts for the best value, right?

What resort did you buy into?

DVC has its own phone number to book.....Member Service MS. The best use and value for the points is to book at any of the DVC resorts. Not a good value to use points at other Disney properties. MS does and will book any requests you have whether in Disney or a trade out.

Thanks for the replies. We are buying in at AKV and for the most part we will be staying at a DVC resort, but we also got 200 developer points to use and SSR or any of the green dot hotels in the book, so I was just curious about those. We could go on a couple trips and still have points leftover to use, plus our regular points beginning in May when KV opens. But thank you for the number, it's ok that's its not the toll free, that will be just fine.
