I am longing for regularly scheduled programming! I am tired of the Olympics. There, I have said it. Anyone else?

Its not that I do not like to watch, I do. I guess I am just missing my Law and Order fix.

Law & Order? Are you kidding? That's on all the time here. Don't you get USA or TNT? It seems like I must have a L&O network, lol. Now, sometimes it is the very old ones with Paul Sorvino but it's on 3 or 4 times daily, no kidding! Not that it's L&O's fault but it bugs me that reruns of that are often shown at 9pm Wednesdays in place of my favorite - West Wing! Can't wait for the new season to begin.

I think the problem with the Olympics is that we have had a whole week of what seems like nothing but Swimming and Gymnastics. I was getting a little bored also but have appreciated some of the Track events they've been showing recently.

My husband says the next sport they will focus on is volleyball
while swimming. i told him he had missed several water polo
games already:)
I'm personally tired of gymnastics, soccer, tennis and volleyball.
What about some decathalon? We loved the high jump last
night but there was so little of it. DS was amazed people were
jumping 7'8" so easily! So was I! I long for Olympics coverage
from CSPAN-no commentators.

I've liked it. It's been so long since I've watched this much network TV.

I guess since we don't have cable TV I am feeling a bit confined in what I am able to watch. Not that I have time to watch much.

I hear ya! I have not watched one single bit of them. And no Days of our Lives! i hate that show, even though I continue to watch it!

I don't think that 2 weeks are bad considering it only comes around once every 4 years.

I'm with you, I am tired of Olympics. I call my husband and daughter "Olympic dorks".

They just can't get enough. I have re-read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the third time last week (finished it last night during the men's 100 meet running). Now I am off to the bookstore to find something else to read.

I'm sorry, I am just not a fan.

....cuz I love it! I watch it during the day while I'm airbrushing and every night until 12. I love the Olympics and I know I'll be missin' it when its over. what I hate are the newspeople who don't give any warnings and blab results!!!!! Geez,I could ring their necks when they do that!!!!

I don't really watch much of the Olympics, I'd much rather watch Days and Passions!!

I'm with you, I'm enjoying the Olympics a lot, and I'll probably be sad when they're all over. :(

Another person here who loves the Olympics although I like the Winter games more. I also wish they'd show more of the less trendy sports. I love the field events like the discus, hammer, long jump and things like weight lifting and wrestling.

My poor DH stayed up last night to watch the hammer throw. They kept saying it would be on but he gave up at 1:30 a.m.

I really enjoyed the women's marathon. Imagine the American coming from 18th place to finish third! You go girl!! :teeth:

ShuisFan, not even the PHENOMENAL US Women's Softball team???

We admit it; we are Olympics junkies. But you know, different strokes for different folks!

That's one of the things I do like watching! I've seen a couple of their games on tv and I've also seen them live, and they are unbelievable.
