We are thinking of buying into the DVC and I realize you have to pick a home resort. Can I theorhetically choose any resort or are you "pressured" into choosing the newest one.

We like the WLV's and hopefully we can get into those as our "home" resort.

You are purchasing a Disney timeshare (real estate), so you purchase what is available. Currently, SSR is what Disney is showing and selling, but they do have points at some of the other resorts that they got through ROFR. If you really want something other than SSR, you probably want to purchase a resale.
