I don't think our government finds it important to spend money on weapons to fight wars that are not ours, or we don't need to be apart of.
So instead we send our military on peacekeeping missions to help countries in post-war situations.

We are doing everything we can.My dad has been deployed 4 times since this war started,my brother twice,and I'm going over pretty soon.We have had over 4,000 deaths and alot more wounded.No one can say we aren't doing all we can.It also looks like we'll be in A-stan for a while longer too.

WWII was a totally different war. Yes, we did pretty much save everyone and that is how we became the world power we are now. However, that does not mean that every other country has to fight our wars along with us every single time.

Our military is really, in no way OBLIGATED to fight in this war with the US.
Sure, it's a serious matter of messed up politics...but really, there is not obligation, though we are close allies to the US, we aren't PART of the US, therefore, are in no way bound to help out in this war.
You could say we "haven't done crap", if in fact, we hadn't "done crap", but the fact that we have men & women there over on the front lines, and a few DYING for a war that isn't ours...I'd say that merits something other than being accused of doing nothing and/or "going to get manicures and run along with beach in white capris"
