I hope that this okay to post here - since he's on his Wish trip it seemed appropriate.

Dominic is one of the poster kids for a group I'm involved with (Coast-to-Coast Against Cancer). His picture was posted on the FB page as part of the Childhood Cancer Month kick-off. He father commented on the post that Dom is in the ICU of an Orlando hospital and may not make it home.

He was in Orlando on this Dream trip (Canadian Children's Wish Foundation, not MAW) when he crashed and had to be admitted to the ICU.

If you have a moment, prayers and thoughts for his family would be great.

2) At least the kid got part of his WISH TRIP.
3) I will mention him in prayers during Sunday Service (I am officiating this week).

NOTE: Too bad I was not working at GKTW this week and didn't get a chance to meet him. Pardon me, but DAMN! I hate it when one of my MAW kids goes. (I am also a Board Member of MAW.)

A couple of sad update posts in his last day and then after on the blog posted above.

It sounds like the family is taking a lot of comfort from the social media support. Give Kids the World also made them a special memory book that I am sure will be very precious when they are ready to look at it.

They are good people. They (or WDW) also sent Mickey to visit Dom (though, unfortunately, Dom was already too sick to see him).

This thread just broke my heart, my prayers are being sent for the family! I just hope the poor little fella was able to have at least a brief bit of happiness on his trip before he became so sick.

Yes - that was sweet and even if he was too sick, the parents know.

from what I read, they were told to expect it anytime already in January, so they got many more precious days than they thought they would get.

That is so sad, my thoughts and prayers will be with the family. I hope that they are able to get all the help they need to make final arrangements.
