someone please shoot me
this toddler is screaming at the top of his lungs! its a rainy day so the kids are hanging out here in our "playroom"
I just cant seem to tolerate the kids as much as i did 4yrs ago when DS was younger and I work in the children's dept
maybe i need a change - lets see if there is an opening in the adult section downstairs!

lol...I know the feeling sometimes....
Hope your days gets better!
hugs

I blame "shreeekers" on the increased use of full time large institution day care. I had a couple of shreekers interupting my demo yesterday at the fair. I am quite sure people were not hearing me over the louspeaker system, as I couldn't hear myself!!

If you think one screaming kid is bad wait until a trip on DCL.

Hundreds of kids screaming at the top of their lungs as characters approach

Oh and as far as institutionalized daycare. I am all for it. It starts children on a structured life early on.

My DD worked in a large institutional daycare center. Not much GOOD structure in it at all!! I supose it is for those mild mannered children (the shy ones), but seems to turn them into little cloned automatrons. The ones who want to be creative end up getting squeched, and then frustrated, and then SHREEKERS for attention! If I ever would have had to do day care, I would have used a private home setting day care. I chose to stay home with my kids though.

And since DS10.5 is NOT into the characters we will NOT be waiting in line for autographs - thank goodness

Maybe it got better after she left.

It's nice that you had that choice. Some of us didn't.
