I don't know if it's just the clips they are choosing to show, but I think Simon has mellowed from past seasons. He can still be harsh, but it doesn't seem as often as in the past. Also, I don't see as much bickering between Paula and him this season.

I'm sure its the clips they are choosing to show as Simon has been getting alot of heat for how he has been acting lately. But I must say that I do like this "new" side of Simon, he seems like a nice guy, a guy who knows what he wants. and have you noticed what a huge flirt he is?

They have been showing a more softer side of him this season. He does have a wicked smile when he's being a tease.
