I got a survey email from lightspeed for a $20 survey but when I went to the site it said $40-- the survey actually went to "customer say"

I thought wow this is great--

they were asking finnanacl questions--just general ones though--which kind of cards you had--when they asked at which bank the cards were from I just put in I didnt know--they really dont need to know that!!!

then when it started asking to register the bank accounts thats when I left!!!

that info they for sure didnt need!!!

I suppose I lost $40 but Id rather have lost that then our whole bank accounts!!!

did this sound right or I should say Ok

Ive never done a survey from lightspeed before but this survey seemed sort of way to personal!!

I've never done a survey from Lightspeed either, but if anything online asks for my bank info or my SSN I don't complete. I'm out the credit for the reward site, but too bad! My personal credit is much more important to me!

Agreed...I am very leery of giving out any personal info as well. I did an offer on SR a couple weeks ago for Christian Credit Report and after I had submitted my CC info, they wanted my SS# to bring up my free report. Well, the page to enter the info was not secure so I didn't do it.

I got no less than 2 e-mails a day from them until I cancelled reminding me to go enter my SS# because I would have to pay the .99 fee no matter what. I figured if they were THAT interested in my SS# they were NOT getting it. So....it cost me .99 and I never got credit for it because I apparently did not complete the offer. I'd rather eat .99 than put that info into an unsecure page.

I received the same survey today. I didn't do it. Lightspeed is legit but they still weren't getting my info.

I have done surveys from lightspeed before where it had my list what banks, credit cards I use, etc. However it has never asked me for the personal numbers! I don't care how much they are going to pay me there's no way I'm going to give them that info!

I've done tons of surveys from Lightspeed in the past couple years and I've generally trusted them. But this one links you to another company I've never heard of. I started doing this one and couldn't believe they wanted access to my credit card accounts!!! Needless to say, that's where I stopped the survey and gave up the hope of a $40. payout. I wonder if they've actually gotten very many people to complete the survey...they sent the same offer to me 3 times before I even started it.
