For our next trip, we plan to have our meals at....

BFST:
Boma
Chef Mickeys
AKershus

Lunch:
Marrakesh
Whispering Canyon
Prime time cafe
Wolfgang puck cafe
Tusker House

Dinners:
Flying Fish
Narcoossee's
Crystal Palace
Cape May Cafe
California Grill
Le cellier
Hoop Dee Doo Revue
Ohana's

What do you think of this? I was thinking of exchanging Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Cape May Cafe for Jiko. Would you do that? Thanks. :)

Some of my favorites are there. :)

Chef Mickeys and Boma breakfasts are excellent.

While I have only had dinner at WPC, I enjoy that very much.

I'm also a big fan of California Grill and HDDR.

Le Cellier we liked, but I do think it is over rated. And I used to be a big fan of Ohana until they changed the menu. Now I feel its just ok, where before I would have said excellent. The bread, pineapple and rice were my favorite parts. ;)

We're staying for 7 nights, 8 days. I'm gonna do the deluxe dining plan.

Not sure if you're next trip is your August or October trip, but the deluxe plan doesn't start until 2008.

I would consider BOMA for dinner since you already have 2 TS breakfasts planned. The dinner buffet is described as having more unique items (and standard) while the breakfast buffet is rather standard. So it seems that you really won't have that Boma experience at breakfast, but you'd get a great meal. If you did Boma for dinner I'd skip Jiko.

From Allears.net: Tusker House - Tusker house will be closed from August 20 until November 17. It is being converted to a buffet table service restaurant.

Thanks for the info septbaby. I'm actually going in 2008 but I haven't put it in my Signature yet.

I'm still very undecided in wheter or not I want to do Jiko, but if I do, I'll have to skip Flying Fish.
I also would really love to do Boma for dinner, but I'd rather have dinners at the other places because Dh is very picky and I'm not sure he'll eat anything at the Boma dinner.
I still have a few months to make up my mind though.

The places sound great! :thumbsup2 We are a family who makes dining a big part of our plans, too. :thumbsup2 Yet I can't help but think , "WOW! mickeysgirl sure has alot of TS planned!" Are you sure it won't overtake your vacation?

I was worried about so many TS meals taking over too, but we were there the same time last year in value season and lines were non existant. I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to do everything we want in each of the parks and still relax at meal times.

It actually is only 2 meals per day because all of the signature restaurants take up 2 meals anyway so I don't think it will be too bad.:thumbsup2
