Hello!

So, I jumped on the PS bandwagon and did some research, and this is what we reserved for me, DH, and DD9:

Chef Mickey for Breakfast
Liberty Tree Tavern for Dinner
Ohana for Dinner
Mickey Backyard BBQ for Dinner

So, does anyone have any suggestions on any corrections I should make? We've never been to Disney, so I was totally going on other people's opinions as to where to go. I tried to get into Cinderella's Breakfast, but no luck there :sad1: Darn me and my procrastinating!! I'm gonna try again closer to vacation time, and hope for some cancellations ;)

TIA for any input!! :worship:

Chosen well,we love the LTT.I'm sure you will have some great food and character interaction at all the dining venues you have chosen. :wave2: ::yes::

One of our favorites is the Kona Cafe in the POly for breakfast, never was there for dinner but heard it was good. If you're up for another character breakfast, the Crystal Palace in the MK is another great choice. Have fun!

My DKs loved that the restrooms were up a wooden staircase at the Liberty Tavern, so be sure to go and "visit." You can look over the balcony to the first floor, too.

Chef Mickey's....been there for dinner....the best food that we've found so far.

My family does not want to go back to Ohana. The DKs (6 and 8) didn't find any of the food to their liking. Too much meat, which they do not eat. They are not very adventurous eaters, I'm afraid.

You'll really love any of it, I think.

My dd 8 loved Ohana's, she only wanted french fries and a bowl of ketchup to eat, so our CM brought her just that, and didnt charge us for her! She enjoyed the hula and the coconut races, and dh and I enjoyed that she was entertained while we waded thru the food!! (and I passed on the pork and turkey, give me shrimp and steak baby!! lol)

Have you considered trying to get a Princess Storybook Character Meal? I think I feel bad that I didnt try to get a CRT for dd, but she was so happy with meeting Aurora, Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, and Mulan, that she didnt really care about CRT, just walking around was enough for her - go figure!! (next trip however I want CRT!! oh, and if you do make those calls every day dont forget sometimes they will take you as a walk up, it never hurts to ask!!)

I think you've made some very good choices, especially for a first trip. I also think you should consider the Princess Storybook breakfast since you haven't had any luck with CRT yet.

I second this idea. All four of my dd's enjoyed this. One suggestion, if I may, is consider LTT (one of my faves inside and out of WDW!) for a late lunch instead of dinner. I believe the $$ are a bit less and if you plan it right, you can walk right out of the restaurant and see the parade go by after lunch.

Chef Mickey's is great, too, though. Just depends on who you would rather see.... Food is comparable. :sunny:

Great choices! You have 2 of our favorites there, Chef Mickeys and Ohana. While I havent tried the others, I mostly hear good reviews about them.
I agree with the others who suggested trying for the Princess Storybook brakfast if you have no luck with CRT.
Happy eating! :)

Those are all great. You might want to check out some places at the other parks as well. My family enjoys:

MGM--50's Prime Time Cafe. Its a blast there and the food is pretty good as well.
Sci Fi--great atmosphere. Tables are "cars" that you sit in to eat and watch the drive in movie. The boys love the burgers and shakes here.

Epcot--Garden Grill. They have a nice character dinner or the Ice Cream social.
San Angel Inn was very nice. It has a great atmosphere and the food was pretty good as well.

AK--Rainforest Cafe-- we eat there on every trip. My boys enjoy the food there, especially the Volcano!

You made great choices! We have done CM for dinner and loved it and we also love love love Ohana's. Like a previous poster my DS did not care for the meats so our server brought him a cheeseburger and french fries on the condition he just try some of the steak. My son enjoyed his steak and his burger and fries and were only charged a kids meal price, I think it was 5.99 for burger and fries. I also recommend Crystal Palace, great food and characters.
