Since I'm having trouble trying to find my way around these boards I'm just going to jot down and submit what I'm looking for.

*I need DVC points for dates 10/29 - 11/5. My wife wants a two bedroom at either Beach Club Villas or Boardwalk Villas.

Hi - Just wondering if you still need points. From what you are saying, you would like a 2 BR villa at the Beach Club , arriving Saturday, Oct 29 and departing Saturday, November 5, correct??

If so, you need a total of 382 points to do this.

I have some points available to rent at $10./point.

Let me know if you still need points and how many and I will pursue this.

Here is the point breakdown for ya:
Beach Club Villas-2 bedroom villa:
Sat (10/29) thru Sat (11/5) = 282 points

Boardwalk Villas-2 bedroom villa:
Sat (10/29) thru Sat (11/5) = 282 points preferred view or 236 points for standard view

Sometimes it is BETTER to use cash for a FRI/SAT eve stay, as the points required are usually so much more than a weekday! Check the points needed for a weekend day, against the weekday. Then, check the prices for the same accommodations using various discounts/codes and see if the difference is worth it. This may end up saving you a lot of extra money. During your proposed dates, you have a Friday and Saturday stay. Maybe someone here can help you with this matter more precisely. Anyone?

Rack rate on a 2 bdrm villa during Regular season is $725.00. I don't have much knowledge as to whether or not a discount is avaialble on these (whether it be AAA or a public code). If not, then renting points is a little less expensive, but with a discount, it might be close or better off paying cash for the first & last nights.

I had gotten a tip that I should be asking for BCV owners to contact me if they have points. That 7 month window is killing us. We are going ahead and putting down a deposit through Disney for seven nights at BCW until we can find someone who has points for our days. Just an update.

Maybe you should create a thread with a title saying how many points you need. Example:

Need 282 BCV for October/November

You may get more attention from those looking to rent a bunch of points. I would also suggest you contact those on the boards who have posted their intent to rent points. Look obviously for people who have BCV points and enough to do it all with one reservation (this will save a big hassle).

FYI: We have solved our hotel problem. We were able to get points for BCV and we're booked. Finally. Now I can get back to my day to day life. Thank you to everyone who sent me PMs and to everyone who helped us thus far. I'm just happy this part is over and done with.

You will love it and I bet big time $$ that you will end up buying into it. It happens to the best don't feel bad, Mark! Don't worry about your kids getting to old either. My folks took me every other year since I was a young one and now that we're married we go EVERY YEAR. So if anything it will get worse...
