Thanks! It was a blast. I heard a commotion and looked over to see her face turning red, so I did what any good husband would do, took a few pictures to keep the embarrassing story alive forever! lol

Love your report so far! I know it took me awhile to get here...I think I'll use that old excuse "better late than never" right?

It sounds like you guys had a great adults only vacation! I think you deserved it after so many trips with the kids although I'm sure you missed them! I thought it was so funny when you said you both kept picking up things that the kids couldn't live without...sounds like something I would do!

All of the parks, especially the MK castle, look beautiful for the holidays!!! I hope to see it in person someday!

I think its great that you got to meet Tracy & Bill! Aren't friends on DIS just great???

Have you heard from Reese at all? I haven't seen her on the boards recently & notice she didn't start her TR from December so I was just worried about her. I know she was super swamped with work so I'm assuming she's just busy. But just wanted to double check & make sure things are ok! Let me know if you've heard from her! (although I honestly can't say anything about her not starting her report...I'm still not done with mine from June...)

Can't wait to read more & see more pics from Bertha! Oh, I almost forgot to ask you...what does Terry do with Bertha on the water rides? Does he have a waterproof case for Bertha or does he just put her inside his park bag? I just wondered cuz I don't have a clue what to do with my camera...normally I just don't take it to the water parks or on the day we're planning to ride water rides.

It was a much needed adult vacation... Funny place for an adult only vacation, but it was so much fun... Normally when I take Bertha on a water ride, she goes into a 5 gallon zip loc bag... When I take her on Splash Mountain I tend to just hang on to her and hold her high in the air and hope for the best... Sometimes that doesn't end very well, but a little overspray from the water won't hurt (I hope, lol)... I don't take her to water parks just because there is too much water there... I have a water proof camera for those places... The zip loc bag is probably the best idea I can give you though... They work wonders and are cheap, so you can keep a few in your park bag and use them over and over again...

Day 3... Part 4...

After the castle lighting Terry and I took off to ride some rides... With the plan to meet back up with Tracy and Bill to see the fireworks and parade!!

This is going to be a picture heavy update, just like the last one, but I think you are all smart enough to know a firework when you see one...

I am going to try and knock out the rest of this night so we can get to my birthday!!

When you said "this chick kissed my husband..." I hadn't scrolled down to see the pic and had completely forgotten Daisy was at that breakfast, so I was at first! LOL!

LOL... That is funny about Daisy... Thanks for the kind words about the pics.. They turned out pretty good... It was hard to take pics when my jaw was on the ground from the show... Amazing...

Day 4... Part 1...

Well, this was the day we had planned the trip for!! It was my 30th birthday!!

I knew Terry had a trick up his sleeve, and it was made obvious by all the text messages pouring into his phone... It was so cute to see him excited and secretive all at the same time...

So, I am having a brain fart, I can't remember what we did for breakfast. I am pretty sure we ate at Pop.

I know we headed to Magic Kingdom, I had wanted to spend the day at Epcot, but Terry said we needed to make a detour...





Terry walked me into the Emporium, and then said he needed to use the restroom... Well, apparently he is a huge liar, because we have all these pictures of the parade that was passing by while I shopped!!



Is it just me or was Donald doing a fist pump, alaSnooki???











He returned to me and shopped around a bit... I found a Dooney and Bourke Sketch that I loved the placement on so he bought it for me!! We also got a few things for the kids... I started the process of having the stuff sent back to our room and he said his stomach was upset and he had to go to the bathroom again... LIAR!!

Next up... The surprise REVEALED!!!!

Day 4... Part 2...

So this is the update you have all been waiting for...

I will tell the story and post photopass pics, then add our pics and fill in the blanks of how Terry did this, then I will get him to upload the video!!

Here goes nothin!!

So Terry returns from what I thought was his second trip to the bathroom... He says that there is a photopass photographer right outside with no line and a great view of the castle, so he wants some birthday pics!!

We go out there and sure enough there is not one, but 2 photo dudes!! Sweet! I didn't think anything of it when Terry handed Bertha to one guy and also his cell phone, telling me that he wanted a pic for Facebook...

So one of the guys start positioning us, and kinda messing with me, and I am thinking he is a bit off his rocker...





Then he tells me to get down on one knee... He puts us in a reverse proposal!! Now, I will have you all know that Terry and I have been married for 9 years and the man STILL has not asked me to marry him... And I want that darn proposal!! So I was thinking in the back of my head, maybe this is it?? They are just messing with me first....



Well, I was WRONG!! Do you see the guy to the right of the picture???

That would be my baby brother!!! The one who is in the Air Force and I rarely get to see!!! I cannot tell you the emotion I felt right then!! I instantly burst into tears!!









I have about 6 more pictures with me wrapped around his neck...

But we will skip ahead a bit...

Day 4... Part 3...

Okay, so apparently my brother called Terry in late May, first part of June... Said he wanted to try and surprise me for my birthday... He needed Terry to find out cost and get him dates. Terry handled all of the Disney reservations, and between Chad, my parents and Terry forking out some cash, Chad was all set to meet us!!

He flew in the morning of my birthday, and the Dooney and Bourke was a decoy gift (one heck of a decoy gift huh!!) Both times that Terry had "gone to the bathroom" he was really getting things ready for the surprise. He talked to a member of management in Magic Kingdom who assigned us 2 photopass photographers and also a character handler to get people to leave the photopass guys alone while they were on "special assignment". Terry said that Disney was awesome to work with and he was very impressed at how easy it was and quick they were to set this up.

The second trip to the bathroom was actually to meet my brother at the front gates and walk him to the photopass guys and there he was given his instructions, then Terry came to get me...

Chad hid in the ice cream parlor while they got us ready, and when they guy put me in the reverse proposal he touched the back of his head, that was my brothers queue to head out...
