I agree, that is not a spoiler. Just a picture. He would be on set filming either way, even if he is lying in a coma on the table, or in flash backs, or memories etc. I wish it gave me hope that he lives, but it does not.

I think Toby lives. I'm not completely in love with the character yet, so I don't have strong feelings either way. (Though he's growing on me...) I just hope that all the people surmising that he's dead and she's pregnant are incorrect. That's not the direction I'd like to see the show go yet.

In any case and with any plot, I am very much looking forward to the return!

Not saying he dies, not saying he lives. I'm just saying that photo is not proof that he is defiantly alive.

The show would not allow that to be posted, they built the drama and left us with a cliffhanger. They would not suddenly spoil Toby's fate a few days before the show IMO. That picture just proves he was on set filming. Could be that his character is alive and well and is filming his recovery, could be that he is being filmed in his coffin for the funeral scene. We will find out this week!

Personally, I think he lives. I just don't think this pic was posted to say, "Hey fans! Look, it's Toby!! He lives! Woo Hoo!" I think it was posted either to get people talking, to build some "buzz," or just to show how much fun they have filming.

I do not feel they will kill Toby off knowing that the viewers are going to have to go through Jack dying, and William. I just don't see them taking Toby from us as well.

I just discovered this show a couple weeks ago and have watched an episode each night. Absolutely love t! Am all caught up and can't wait for Tuesday. Hope Toby lives as I love his character and want good things for Kate.

I don't want to think about it. I dread it and I can't even imaging losing Jack, Guess I better get used to it. I'm going to be a mess if we do lose Toby tonight.

Gah! Don't take my word as fact..it's just a feeling I have based on the preview. I hope we have him for a few more seasons but he seemed pretty frail during the Thanksgiving episode.

Unfortunately, I agree. I think that they want us concerned about Toby. He'll be fine but then they'll hit us with a down turn for William. That's going to be a rough one.

On this show you never need to miss anybody...pretty sure the "flashback" is a plot device that will keep them all around forever.

This is exactly what I think will happen. Toby is fine, William will die soon, if not tonight, then within the next couple of episodes.
