Ok here we go.
They are geniuses for having Siddharta(their composer) make what we hear in the credits the song Rebecca sings! I do wonder if the first time they heard it was when Mandy sang it cuz those emotions were definitely real and on impulse. Also give Mandy Moore all the awards.
And if no one has seen the video of them doing the wobble while Justin Hartley (Kevin) makes a phone call it’s not only hilarious but also gives us hints as to who we will mainly be seeing in these final five episodes.
Also got to give Milo a shout out because he had to play Kevin as Jack because Rebecca sees Jack.
There is also a huge theory starting to go around that Kevin is NOT married but is wearing Jack’s wedding ring to help Rebecca.
Let’s start with the past: Look I wasn’t around in the 80s but the fashion and hair trends were oof (they spilled over into the 90s….I hated it lol), but it was a good lesson they needed to learn and also it could’ve gone on longer with body autonomy. Also we now know why Jack shaved the beard/kept it tidy.
And the flashforward:
1) While Deja not being there makes sense because it’s 2026 she is definitely in college where were Tess and Annie?
2) Beth and Madison had me howling at times.
3) Anyone else sad not to see Gregory at the wedding?
4) I loved Evie’s outfit and Kate’s Dress.
5) Randall’s speech was beautiful, but I also think that was the writers way of telling us to buckle up because these last five episodes will FLY
6) Anyone else think Miguel haD Parkinson’s at first and not a side effect to the medicine?
7) Speaking of Miguel, I feel like last night confirmed the “he dies before Rebecca” theory
8) If Kevin does wind up with anybody, I don’t think it’s the wedding singer. I will be shocked if it is. I think she helps him, but they don’t wind up together.
9) Randall is a Senator now but that still doesn’t explain his lack of security in the flash forward to Rebecca on her deathbed. I truly think if and when Miguel dies is when he will stop his political climb.
10) Beth and Randall are still an amazing couple
11) Philip has grown on me. However I don’t understand why Beth and at the very least Madison weren’t in that convo the big three and Philip had about Rebecca at the table. Kate could’ve roped in Toby later obviously but spouses/parents of children related to Rebecca should’ve been looped in.
12) I love that Miguel walked Kate down the aisle given the brothers did it the first time. I think it shows maturity for a lot of characters. Miguel is finally accepted into the family, the big three realize they need to protect each other but not be in the way. It also represents the blended families finally coming together.
13) random final note but I loved the wedding venue.
