This is Us- Season four

But the son in the future scene doesn't seem to be mixed, and whoever the woman is - she is pregnant (thinking no adoption).
Isn't that adult Jack...not Kevin's son?? Maybe I'm confused. I thought the most future flash forward from last night was baby Jack as an adult with the shrimp and pregnant wife??

I'm pretty sure it was. She was wearing the same clothes and arrived with the flowers she bought there.
She was wearing the same clothes as nine months later when she bought the flowers. When she came back to the Thanksgiving with the pie she had the red sweater on, in the store she had the coat on, and left her phone.

Hey now, Miguel stayed. :rotfl2:

Poor Migs. Everyone treats him like a ghost.
He's the strong silent type. :)

I did see him in the kitchen making something, but I still felt like Beth was doing the lion's share of the work.

There was a future scene in the season 3 finale. Maybe that's what they mean?
There was a scene with baby Jack as an adult putting a platter of shrimp on his table, with his wife, though I did not notice if she was pregnant or not. In the scene for their 40th birthday, Kevin says his fiancée is pregnant and sick all the time and the police woman tells him she should drink ginger tea (or something like that, I don't remember exactly).

I think the text Kate saw is not even about her. Since it was a group text from CrossFit, I bet he was talking about their instructor, possibly she rode him hard that day and he wanted to give up. I think Kate will not talk to him about it, assume the worst, and hook up with the neighbor.

Since Kevin's finance is having morning sickness, she is probably not that far along. Usually women do not experience morning sickness at the end of their pregnancy. So it could be a totally new character, but I'm leaning toward Zoe.

I also agree the rift with Randall will be the fact he helped hide Rebecca's condition. I'm sure Kevin will feel slighted by that.

People (I think) are referring to the final scene of Season 3, when the family is all gathering at Kevin's house to see Rebecca, who is bed ridden. The scene includes a glimpse of Kevin's son.

I have it on again (to scrutinize the Rebecca scenes and see if I missed a clue) and yes, future Jack's wife is also visibly pregnant. - She also mentions "the baby and I" being hungry.

Thanks. I had my head turned towards DH to explain who it was and by the time I turned back, the scene was over.

I don't think that Kate was trying to be cruel or take something away from Toby when she told him about the first avocado feeding. I think that she was feeling guilty about keeping the secret from him for a week (because they had promised no more secrets), especially when Toby was making such a huge deal about it. I also don't think she's jealous of Toby's weight-loss but rather is feeling left behind on a journey they both started together. And she realizes that it's not all his fault, but that doesn't help with her feelings. I have known several people who went through weight-loss/getting fit and were obsessed with it. I'm not saying that it's all Toby's fault, but he definitely isn't guiltless in the two of them not communicating/growing apart. I still have hope that they make it through this rough patch like Randall and Beth did and are together in the future. In any case, though, they have done a great job of raising Jack and instilling Pearson traditions in him.

It's difficult to watch Rebecca have the memory issues. The writers definitely got me with the twist!

The part that I'm most nervous about is that Randall and Kevin aren't speaking. They have finally started getting closer. I don't want to see animosity there again. :( I love Randall and I've grown to love Kevin, but they are definitely not at their best when they are holding grudges against each other.

Since the fiancee is having morning sickness, I'd say she's in the first trimester (though that isn't definite). I don't think it's Zoe, Cassidy, or Sophie, but I think maybe it will be someone we've seen before. I can't think of who, though. I can't wait to find out!

I think it was very selfish of her. She was willing to ruin his excitement over it in an attempt to assuage her guilt and make herself feel better. She needed to let him have that.

Seeing Rebecca fail is tough, as I am seeing memory issues with my mom, though not as severe, and it worries me.

I wrote this out last night and deleted. PSA coming -

Everyone needs to read up on vitamin b12 deficiency, simply to be educated for yourself and your loved ones. Please know I am not insinuating that the majority of cases of dementia are due to this issue; there is no evidence of that. However, some cases definitely are due to it and easily misdiagnosed. Also when b12 deficiency goes untreated and leads to neurological symptoms time can be an important factor for recovery.

B12 should never have been called a vitamin. Although it can be about nutrients, the horrid cases are about an absorption issue due to age, medications, diseases/conditions or pernicious anemia.

B12 deficiency can come at any age and can cause gait changes, foot dropping, falls, nerve pain, pins and needles, muscle weakness/poor muscle recovery, extreme fatigue, failure to thrive in toddlers, double vision, electric like surges in body, psychiatric issues etc.

And when it follows the dementia route - memory, word-finding issues, confusion, brain fog, agitation, hallucinations etc.

The elderly are even more susceptible because absorption issues are more common after sixty.

Simply saying first step should be to check levels, to rule it out. And know that many doctors are ignorant about it - fifteen minutes in medical school kind of deal. And North American normals are lower than other areas.

One story of many -

A nurse's mother passed away, diagnosis of Alzheimer's. She decided on an autopsy. Finds out her mother did not have Alzheimer's after all - complete misdiagnosis. It was a b12 deficiency. Imagine that horror. Just saddens me.

A great read for proper care and to prepare oneself for erroneous information from medical professionals -

And this one is very long and heads up has extreme cases ---

Okay, simply spreading the word. Excuse the interruption. Carry on.

Right...I was saying that at the store when Randall was calling was the 9 months later...everything we saw of her out of the house was 9 months later, which would mean that she and Randall were probably still on speaking terms etc.
