WELL IT COMES IN THREES....
I'm in ONEderland, weighing in at 198lbs, I just got a brand new job working at our local zoo, something I've always been interested in doing!!
What's the third thing.....I DON'T KNOW...BUT YOU KNOW THEY SAY GOOD AND BAD NEWS COMES IN THREES!!! 
It is so cool things have been going so well this week, and it's just Monday!
I had an interview this morning at 8:30 for the zoo and I literally thought I was going to have an interview, but instead, she started showing me around the shop I'm going to be working in and introducing me to everyone!! WOW!! 
I'm just starting in the gift shop right now, but have the opportunity to move into different areas when the time is right.
This is something new and different and I'm so excited about it. Many of you who have known me for the 3 years I've been on the DIS know my story, you've been here through my good and my bad. Well last year, around June or so, I was looking to get out of Ruby's but the opportunity never presented itself and I was so disappointed.
I just figured it was where the Father wanted me, so I let things go and went on about my business. Well earlier this year I had six applications out for other employment, and NOTHING! Well I got two phone calls from two of them, but I never heard anything back. I called Walmart to check the status of my application and they never returned my phone call. 
The zoo was the first place I went and when I never heard back from them, I figured, she lost interest. WELL SHE DIDN'T!! 
She told me today, that she liked me a lot and needed more people like me working for the areas she controls in the zoo. She can only offer me part-time right now, but that's what I'm looking for. I'm not looking to walk out of Ruby's completely, because I do have insurance through them. I will eventually just wind myself to one day a week at Ruby's when the full-time opportunity presents itself at the zoo. She told me today that I could only work 4 days a week and still have almost 30-40 hours! I was like OKAY!!
On top of all this good news, DH and I are heading home in just 11 days!!
It's been almost 4 years since we've visited home and that's entirely too long to be away from family. We're only going for about 7 days with 2 days of travel, but I think 7 days at home is better than none....right?? I don't know what I'm more excited about now....going home or my new job!
I'm a darn good waitress, I am good at what I do...that's why I make the money I do because of the service I give. However after about 16 years of waiting tables on and off...it's gotten old! It's time for something new. Will I go back to it when I leave permanently? I don't think so, but I will stay at Ruby's one day a week, til I know or til the Father tells me it's time to go.
Well, I just wanted to share some more good news with my DIS friends...thanks for being here!

Oh, guess what one of my perks are for working at the zoo with an organization actually called Amstaff...I get discounts off of Universal Studios tickets...10%! Hey it may not be much, but with a trip coming in 2006, I may be able to work Universal in now with this new job perk.
