Okay guys, what is the one thing you plan to do this week to get or stay healthy?

For me it is, I will begin to exercise (again). I am going to start with 3 times per week doing the 2 mile WATP video. I hope to work up to 5 days and 3 miles by Nov. 1.
 
I joined this board and I am going to go to Weight Watchers and get started on their program this week.

I am so glad to find you guys and to join your board! I am looking forward to a lighter year next year!

This is the week I try to keep on my exercise plan.
 
You and me both, Karen. I am so bad about doing the WATP. I let all kinds of things get in my way. I'm going to do WATP everyday this week.
 

WATP is the part of my exercise plan that gets "overlooked" too.
Why is it way easier to go to CURVES than to walk into the other room and turn on the tape? I suppose because CURVES is on the way home from work. The minute I walk in the door of my house other things are calling to me....a hungry cat, a happy dog and the DIS! I guess on non-CURVES nights the DIS can only be allowed as a reward for doing my tape........we'll see if that works!

whew! you'd like as a WWer since February that wouldn't be a big deal, but I had become a bit lax in that lately!
 
This is the week I plan on getting to the gym (As soon as it re-opens on Wednesday)! Besides that, I intend to not eat out at all, and not have anything harder than a glass of wine, and continue doing pilates. (I am seeing a difference in the overall shape of my body. Tummy is firmer, and thigh/hip area is less UM...defined ;) .) Keep up the good work all!

Time for me to dust off the WATP DVD's and actually use them. I pulled them out last week, but never made it down to the family room to use them. My goal is to do them at least 3 times this week.
 
I want to do the WATP 1 mile at least every other day this week. I need to get use to it again so I can bump it up to two miles. Good luck with your goals this week everyone!
 
This week I will keep my thoughts positive. :-)

I will exercise every day because I know it's good for my body. :-)

I will play outside with my kids because they love having a fun mom. :-)

I will drink more water than I usually do because it makes me feel full and does so many good things for my body. :-)

I will turn the radio up and dance while cleaning the house. :-)

I will add my W.I.S.H buddies to the list of things I am thankful for. :-)

I will try my best to make good choices but not be so hard on myself for the times I slip up. :-)
 
...use my new home gym three days. I'm already down to 2 days since I used it on Sun. Now just Tues and Thurs and I'll be on track.

1. Work in veggies for lunch every day this week.
2. Drink even MORE water than normal this week.
3. Exercise 6 days.
 
Ok, I give...what is WATP?? Usually I am good at these appreviations...I'm stumped on this one!:confused:

Besides figuring out what WATP stands for...I hope to maintain good, healthy eating this week. This is the "week before" when even cardboard looks tasty! :teeth: Plus the scales jumps up as bloating sets in...not a self-esteem-boosting week! So, just focusing on my goals would be my goal this week.;)
 
I didn't know what it was either, so I am glad someone asked.

Hey, I went to Weight Watchers tonight and joined up. That was a first step. Now I just have to stick with it. Here's hoping for a good week for all of us!

BTW, WATP refers to Walk Away the Pounds, an exercise video/DVD that many of us are using. :D
 
Weigh in is tomorrow which starts a new week for me. I plan to be faithful to WW points and not snack and pick!
 
1.) Stop picking. I will journal even if I have one bite!!

2.) Exercise at least 45 minutes every day.

3.) Drink pop (Diet Pepsi) only on the weekend.


Lets see if this helps at next weeks' weigh in.
 
I dusted off the treadmill downstairs and actually used it last night. If it's too cold all week for outside walks, I hope to follow through and use it.
(My WATP's video could use some dusting off too!):D
