Hey Michele!

My appointment went well. Everything seems to be going good. The doctor today was a little creepy though. He just made me a little uncomfortable, don't know why. I hope he isn't the one on call when I have to go to the hospital!!!

I did go to the Disney Store. Only bought 2 Vinylmations. I wil try to stay away from there for the rest of my visit, but no guarantees!

I am glad your appointment well. But, I am sorry that the doctor was creepy I had one like that when I was pregnant with Kacy. I made sure that I requested another doctor after seeing him. To this day I won't see him.

So which ones did you get?

I got Clock Cleaners from the Have A Laugh series, and the Bumble Bee from the new Urban 6 series. They weren't at the top of my list, but they weren't my worst either, so I am satisfied....for now.

I think I have met all 6 doctors in the maternity area of the clinic now, and he was the only one I didn't like. So I am hoping I don't get him. I feel weird asking to make sure I don't get him though.

I just asked for the doctors I liked when I made my appointments.

Thats a good idea. I know I dont have him next time, so I am relieved. He was just really awkward, and it seemed like he never learned how to do the social part of the job.

Some doctors just never have bedside manner. My dad had a heart surgeon that had zero bedside manner. But what she lacked there she made up for it in talent.

Wedding Wars? Oh that doesn't sound good to me.....:scared1:

It is a weird one for sure

My sons love that show! :thumbsup2

Yeah, it is a guy's version of a soap opera, there's still drama but it is based around competition and blowing things up

What is top shot? That is not the one I have seen him watch

Wedding wars sounds interesting popcorn::

Top Shot is a competition where they bring together 16 experts in different kinds of weapons ...everything from handguns and rifles to bow and arrow. They compete in elimination events using all manner of weapons and circumstances to see who is the best overall shot.

Wedding Wars is a Survivor-based series where engaged couples are stuck on an island competing in weekly tasks to win things for their wedding (this week is was $2,500 to go towards a wedding cake). There is also the standard ceremony at the end of the episode where a couple gets voted off. LOTS of drama and backstabbing.

I enjoyed reading that Chele

made me smile and chuckle :)

Agreed, good 'kids say the darndest things' humor :) :thumbsup2

I hope you don't get the creepy guy. Gotta be comfortable with your doctor under any circumstance, but especially when having a baby. I would gear it towards one or two you like rather than pointing out that you don't like him ;)

Don't know where the twinkies came from, just didn't want to say barrel of monkeys ...far too obvious. And twinkies are good :D

Here's for hoping we get more sun here, but I honestly haven't looked at a local forecast in days.

*eyes drift towards Orlando*

Enjoy your AI tonight, I'll be watching something random like Discovery Channel unless Bean convinces me to go swimming again this evening ;)

have you seen the movie Zombieland?? Twinkies are awesome :rotfl:

AI ~ Did not disappoint for the most part. Bottom 3 for me: Thia, Naima and Stefano... with Thia and Stefano leaving. Naima has a following I think.

I adore Scotty but I'm a little fearful for him this week. It's never good to go first and well, his song was just eh.

My sons love that show! :thumbsup2

I'll have to read that tomorrow Chele ~ I'm going cross-eyed ~ time for bed!

See ya real soon!

I missed Scotty & Naima! But the little clips I did see, Naima did her thang okay and Scotty wasn't too outstanding but okay too.

Hello everyone! Thank you for all the welcomes! It feels really nice. :goodvibes

That was a really cute post Michele.

I am still at my moms in Calgary, but I will try to make it on real soon to chat more. :)

Hi Andrea, my name's Cheri. I have never been to DLR but WDW is my first love.

have you seen the movie Zombieland?? Twinkies are awesome :rotfl:

Hehe, saw it in the theater and bought it as soon as it came out. LOVE IT! They're writing the sequel as we speak :thumbsup2

Tallahassee: [discovers Hostess truck filled with Sno-Balls] Sno-Balls? Sno-Balls? Sno Balls? Where's the "blinkin" Twinkies?
Columbus: I love Sno-Balls.
Tallahassee: I hate coconut. Not the taste, consistency.
Columbus: [eats a Sno Ball] Fresh.
Tallahassee: Oh, this Twinkie thing, it ain't over yet.

I love all things zombie ...books, movies. Oh and Walking Dead ROCKS! :woohoo:

When he said that, I was like, "Exactly!!!"

I have watched the first 40 minutes. Frankly if Pia doesn't pop out something other than ballad I think she needs to go. She needs to show a range.

Scotty is cute but to me it was same old, same old.

Naima was herself although I thought she poured on a bit of a Jamaican accent that if I was Jamaican I might be offended.

Did you enjoy Pia's BALLAD? :lmao: I am beginning to think that she can't dance or something... doesn't want anyone to know. :rotfl2:

I thought the EXACT same thing about Naima. Tom walked in while she was singing and he asked if she was "from the islands"? I was like, "No, Milwaukee!"

Haven't seen it but your post makes me want to!

And you and Chele's Scotty must be kindred spirits... he's crazy about zombies too, isn't he Chele?

No doubt Top Shot is a soap opera. I watched it one week and I told Scotty the same thing.

I love Zombieland!!

I knew I could count on my friends here to welcome Andrea!!

Oh I didn't know they were doing a sequel. That movie is hilarious. Scotty is a major zombie fan. I bought him a glow in the dark zombie rubber duck. We have so many zombie books. Have you read Brian Keene? Scotty and Loren both love his work. I love Walking Dead but I felt like they kind of dropped the ball on the last show. It was almost anti-climatic. Here is a zombie story Kody wrote in her freshman year for school and for Scotty.

Did you enjoy Pia's BALLAD? :lmao: I am beginning to think that she can't dance or something... doesn't want anyone to know. :rotfl2:

Oh I know. Pia just stands there. Just once I want to see her break free and sing something different and move.

Too funny we both thought the same thing about Naima.

Zombieland is funny you should watch it. If you have Starz it is on demand still. And yes Scotty is mad about his zombies. Good memory!!:thumbsup2

Yeah, I think Scotty is on the wrong show

He has great voice and can make it on his own now in Nashville I am sure

I am going to have to watch the recaps tonight to see what I missed last night

Oh cool. I bet Stever would like that show and Trent too

I would like wedding wars

Love drama, on tv that is

Oh indeed drama on tv or in the movies is far better than real life drama.

Oh, Pia -- please...you don't impress me anymore with your ballads. You have set yourself up for potential mediocracy or even failure next week. Everyone is going to be so critical of your song choice, tempo and how you move on stage...you are my #3...but not for much longer...

Scotty -- I love you ... I really do. BUT please try to stretch and grow a little. You can still do a country song but jazz it up. I'm fearful for you...you peaked too early and unless you do something to change it up, I won't be seeing your fresh young face anymore. Yes, I love your low notes...but how about belting something out...sustaining a peak note...c'mon, you are my #2

Naima - a little better than eh
Thia - eh
Stefano - eh
Paul - eh

Casey -- good job. You clean up nicely. Now I'm waiting to see without a beard altogether!

Haley -- darn girl you try waaaaaaay too hard.

James -- loved it! He is an entertainer...not the best voice but he's still my #1

Lauren -- pretty good

Lusk - good

And may I add that the judges cannot like them all. I say we start voting on them. Oh please Hailey was not the best performance of the night.

Enjoyed your critique

Can't wait to watch the show tonight so I can see the ones i missed

I agree! But I am biased against her.

Scotty and I must be too. Because we thought she was awful. Scotty's exact words were something along the line of think that she was really karaoke.

Me too.

CHele, I know you have not seen yet, and idol is still on, but have to say...Did anyone else think Hailey just totally flubbed the words in the katy perry song the girls are singing?

Sounded like she mumbled....
