Sat, 5/21: Arrival day.
Get checked in, get settled, check out the awesome pirate ship pool.
Dinner at T-Rex Cafe!
Sun, 5/22: DHS for *hopefully* SWW
Mon, 5/23: MK (yes, I know MK on a Monday... but the hours are longest this day and no EMH.)
Tue, 5/24: No park this day... the possibilites are endless.
Wed, 5/25: AKL (tentative... we may skip AKL and have a second day elsewhere)
Dinner at Rainforest (IF we go to AKL, if not maybe I'll change to the DTD location.)
Thu, 5/26: Epcot
Fri, 5/27: Another no park day.
Sat, 5/28: Head for home.
No park days ~ *I'm kind of holding out hope that free Universal tix will fall outta the sky and land in my lap* but since that most likely won't happen there are other things we are considering.
Mini golf.
Disney Quest (the boys are pushing for this one).
Water park??? Never been!
Kennedy Space Center
Lay around poolside and drink margaritas (okay, that one is for me).
I am honestly not sure I will make anymore ADRs. The more we go the more I learn that it just doesn't make any financial sense at all for us to eat on property. When the boys are older and not so picky maybe that will change. But they are going to be 10 this trip... adult prices for them to pick at food they don't like while Tom works himself up into a tizzy over it. This is a revelation that was loud and clear to me during our last trip when Owen was reduced to tears at Whispering Canyon over the prospect of having to eat yet another bowl of subpar macaroni and cheese. Kinda takes the fun out of the experience.
I am kind of taking Michele's lead and trying not to micro-plan this trip so much. I want us to have things we must-do in mind along with things we might want to try that we haven't done and go from there.
One new thing I am thinking about is the Kim Possible missions in WS. I think this could be fun! We could split into 2 teams and compete with each other. I have to run it by the kids though... they might not agree with me!
