For one of my daughters we have been collecting attraction posters for her room. She now has 6 printed posters (hey, they aren't cheap, especially once you put them in a frame, they are Splash Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Matterhorn, Flying Saucer, Star Tours, and a WDW poster) that were all bought at the Art of Disney either at WDW or DL.

Last trip to WDW we went to Art of Disney at DTD and ordered up one of the smaller Haunted Mansion prints on canvas for a section of the wall we will start on. It took about 2 weeks for it to arrive and it had actually been shipped from England, which I found strange. Pretty pricey to be shipping from England. The name of the company that sent it was The Art Group. This was last August.

Well, I just opened up an e-mail from FedEx that says The Art Group has just sent me a new package that weighs 6lbs from their Maryland offices. Here's the strange thing, I have not been to WDW or ordered any new posters. I'm really excited to see what's coming. I have no clue what it could be. Any guesses?

Anybody else collect attraction posters?

Hey, you think those are expensive? Try collecting the real thing! They are VERY BIG, expensive and so are the frames! The repros allow many of us to enjoy those beautiful images...

Good Luck in your collecting, always nice to hear from someone else that appreciates that kind of art work!

Please keep us informed about the "mystery package"!

Ohhhh I wanna know what you're getting!!!!! How exciting! Please come back and post for us! :)

LOL, a box of Pixie drust.

I'll be sure to post what it is when it comes. I just hope it's not somebody elses print accidently sent to me. I'm hoping they did a drawing and I happened to win something.

The box that came from England previously was sent by DHL.

Weird, it ended up being the exact same print I already have? They shipped it to me twice, once in Sept. and now. Maybe I'll get a third print in a few more months?

Guess I'll call them tomorrow to see what's up.
