Not quite the same, but has anyone else ever gone on the Bunker Tour at the Greenbriar Resort in WV? The place was amazing. It had the facilities underground to house Congress in the event of a nuclear attack. Food supplies were kept up to date and stored there, constantly being replaced as things expired. All prescriptions for all members were kept in the underground hospital, again changed out as they expired or changed for the member's needs. There was an emergeny house chamber, TV facilities. The entire bunker was built by local tradesmen who worked and knew only what they needed to know. They all probably kind of "knew" what this was, but they kept the town's secret. One of the doors was hidden in plain view, as part of a wall of the resort's ballroom. It is such an interesting sight and part of American history, and will be removed from public view in June. It was maintained until a newspaper reporter figured it out and printed a story. It immediately was no longer viable as a secure site, and was shut down from its intended purpose.
