Please do not take this the wrong way but you spelled capitalize wrong. I shouldn't be talking I would die if I didn't have spell check. Sometimes I have to open a word document and write down the word and use spell check on it before I post. One time I even misspelled the word WITH. I am a dumb blonde when it comes to spelling.

Sowweee (that was intentionally spelled wrong btw) CAPITALIZE is not a word I use too often.

I'm a grammar/spelling nazi.
I'm that kid who got everything right on their spelling tests in elementary.
I don't like to use 'u' or 'ur' though, I can't help but to not capitalise things when I'm typing. It just takes too much time.
I usually go back and fix spelling mistakes, or when I spell something wrong I put (sp?) behind it for spelling.

Hah, I can't spell for my life.
And I have the worst vocabulary.
It's kind of ironic, too, since I do well in school.

I agree! Sometimes I just give up reading a post when sum1 typs lyk that .. but an honest mistake, like a misspelled word, I'll hardly notice it..

Spelling things wrong is one thing. Heck, I can't spell good.

"I accidentally went to the beach today and layied in the sand" -thats fine with spelling errors


"I acidenlt wen 2 da bech 2day and layded in da sand"- is just neglection. [sp?]

FINALLY, a thread on spelling/grammar issues.
That was really starting to bug me.
I don't like the other type of spelling.
It's just plain confusing.
i admit i will use the following:
tho, lol, prolly

but misused grammar kills me.
it's what i get for having a strict grammar teacher this past year.
"who has had THERE ears pierced?" it's thEIR
"Join ARE club" it's OUR.

please, just double check your posts so it's somewhat understandable.

I definitely agree with both Rachel and Lary! I try not to use Internet lingo, because it bugs me. And I can't stand when people misuse words like "there, their, they're".

I HATE it when people do that. I don't mind some internet language but if it's like that it gets 2 far. I've kinda gotten used 2 somw of them like... lol, j/m, j/k, b/c, u, r, n y.

I read the trip reports board and it gets really annoying sometimes because they abbreviate everything. It takes me five minutes to figure out what they are abbreviating!!! I don't really mind if they abbreviate the Magic kingdom(MK), but it took me forever to figure out MNSSHP mean't Mickey's not so scary halloween party. see, that only took me like five seconds to write out!!!
