I have some comments on my trip of Nov. 13-19. The first few days were VERY hot & humid. The last 4, the weather was wonderful!
Wilderness Lodge was just beautiful! Our room was on the 6th floor with a very nice view. Very convenient to the elevator and the ice machine. It was quiet and mouse keeping was good.
We used Tiffany Towne Car from & to the airport. Nice & on time. Love the Lincoln town cars.
Taxi's are a different story. They drove like maniacs and were very unfriendly.
The bus service was very good. We didn't wait but once that was over 10 minutes. Almost always got a seat and most of the buses were the kind they can lower and you just walk on so that helped my bad knee a lot!
The crowds at the parks were light most of the time. The Christmas party was great and uncrowded. This was on Sunday, Nov. 13. This is early in the season and it was a school night.
Most people were nice and considerate and didn't shove or break in line.
Now for the restaurants.......
The Mex. counter service at Epcot was TERRIBLE.
Teppen Edo at Epcot was wonderful.
50's Prime Time at HS was wonderful, the best fried chicken and pot roast, but don't eat the meatloaf.
Sci-Fi not good at all. Too dark to see what we were eating.
Starring Rolls butterfinger cupcake is way overrated.
Tusker House breakfast only fair. Pizzafari was awful! Thank goodness for the soft serve icecream at AK.
The food at Wilderness Lodge Roaring Fork was really pretty bad.
Columbia Harbor House at MK only fair. Thank goodness for Mrs. Potts.
Kona at Poly was wonderful as always.
Cal Grill not worth 2 table services.
I didn't have a chance to get a pastry in France...darn.
I forgot about Pecos Bill's. I like their taco salad. And I wish we have eaten at
Flame Tree.
My granddaughter and I had a great time and took over 200 pictures. I'm ready to start planning my next trip!
AND WE HAD NO RAIN!!!!!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!
