I've been lurking on this site for over a month now and finally got things straightened out so that I could post. Just wanted to jump in and say HOW DO' !!!! This board is WONDERFUL!! We (DH,DD 10,DD8,DD2, and I) are going to WDW for the first time next month and I've been living on this board since I found it. If anyone has any wonderful tips for a first timer, please let me know. I'm open to anything. We will be arriving at ASMo on April 20 (Easter, yes, I know I'm crazy) and will be leaving April 26. Not sure if this is the right thread to ask on, but ...Do you think it is reasonable to go to DQ the day that we arrive then hit the parks the next morning? Thanks in advance..... (One more question....On some boards it says I may not post on others I can, is this normal?)

I sometimes get that you can't post thing. Correct me if I wrong someone but I think all it wants you to do is log on to it?

I've never been to DQ but your plan sounds like a good one. The only thing I can suggest is to definately use fastpass whenever you can.

Above all, Have a great time ASMo is a great place to stay.

You are going to love ALL Star Movies.....and why not do Disney Quest when you arrive.....we loved it there.....yes Easter week is a little bit crazy....but just remember the fast pass and early entry if it is still going on.......Why not come to a Monday Tuesday or Wednesday night chat.....we have alot of fun and can answer all your questions and concerns.....they are usually posted on the boards and start at nine pm....again welcome to the Dis and hope you enjoy your stay

Hi Ruth! Welcome to the DIS. You can get some great trip info on several of the boards here. There are boards for the parks, the resorts, the restaurants, etc. I am not sure if you have to "subscribe" to them in your User CP before you can post or not. I am sure someone will be able to answer that for you.

Just be sure to keep stopping by this board and get to know us! Have fun on your trip.

Pumba nailed it with the FastPass suggestion. They're free and only take a minute to get. You may consider splitting your day since you're on property. Get up early & hit the parks as soon as they open, ride for a while, then go back to your hotel to rest a bit. You can then close down the parks (depending on the hours) and not be too tired by the end of the day.
