So we, like many others, would like to stay at Grand Floridian sooner than later. Well DUH, DUH, DUH me. We already 7 of our 10 nights for Dec. So I thought why not move trip up to November and even found the week we wanted in a 1BR all nights avail.!!! Then I remembered that the points I used for the current ressie are borrowed from 2014 (my UY is Dec) so I cannot use those points until after Dec 1st!! So sad to see the whole avail but cannot use points to book for then. Oh well....will hold my breath (i know, pretty pointless for Dec from what i am reading) and hope we can score some days there ))

I hope all who are trying to get a ressie there can succeed! I know it will be around for awhile and we could just wait until next trip, but ya know it always fun to stay when it is still new and shiny!

For what it is worth, they declared a lot of inventory for DVC so it appears to me looking around VGF will have fair availability while sales are still just getting started. This really should be the best time to get VGF (lots of declared inventory while sales are still new).

On Aug 7 I'm going to try to get a night or 2 at VGF in Dec at the tail end of our 7 nights at AKV Jambo House.

It's worth a try.
