The first time I heard of the famed Club 33 I knew that I had to some how get in. I did hear that a current member can make a reservation for you to have lunch or dinner. Well, this is my shot in the dark. If there is anyone with a Club 33 membership and would like to make a boys dream come true, let me know. If not its ok, I guess its the unknown that is so interesting.

:thumbsup2

Since to become a 33 member you have to wait 10 years and pay $20,000, members of the club usually don't take reservations for strangers. Try the Napa Rose or the Blue Bayou instead.

You can take the tour that includes Club 33 peek or watch for something like the Halloween events that sometimes include Club 33 perks.

Good luck. I have tried for years but have basically given up. Since I got back from Afghanistan, I am looking again. You can always have a hope, a goal, a dream.

Many businesses own memberships and use them to schmooze clients and reward employees. Check with your work colleagues and contacts - have your hubby do the same. You never know! That's how I found a member - he is the owner of the web services contractor my company works with and he just offered it to me one day when I mentioned we were going to DL.

It is definately knowing the right people. I can understand why members would not want people they do not know being in the club when they are responsible for their actions. But never hurts to try.

I completely agree. Your best bet is through business contacts. Just start asking around. If I was fortunate enough to work for a company that belonged to 33, I would make a ressie for you though :thumbsup2

No, the "you have to be a member or know one" line isn't true.

Yes, you can eat at Club 33 without being a member or even being a guest of a member.
Another Disney board hosts breakfasts at Club 33, open to anyone registered on the site, held about a year apart.

Even at those breakfasts you are still a guest of a member. Someone on that board has a membership and that is how they are able to book for everyone.

I used to work for a company that had a corporate membership. They allowed us to have our service anniversay celebrations there, but only after you reached 25 years. Well, after 12 years I was laid off last year. Fortunately a very good friend and former coworker is allowing me to attend her retirement party there this weekend.

Good luck to all who are trying to find a way in. It is truly a once in a lifetime event for some.

Oh, let us know how it goes! Have fun!:goodvibes

This site will provide you with the definitive answers on who can go, what you will find when you get there, along with lots of just plain fun trivia.

We were fortunate enough to have gone thanks to a business contact, as I said before. That said, it's not something I'd choose to do every trip, given the cost. Our bill was well over $400 for lunch. But they did keep my champagne glass filled and the 'napkin folding guy' provided us with a story to tell for years to come! (yes, there was a staff person whose exclusive job, it seemed, was to run over and refold and reposition your napkin every time you stood up to go to the buffet, restroom, etc. It got to be quite amusing!

I really hope you can find someone who will help you get reservations! It is an amazing experience!

It is soooo funny that you mention this. We, too, observed this happening and just got a kick out of it!

Oh good luck!! Most of us here would love to go, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anyone on these boards that is able or willing to make ressies for us. I hope you're able to get in somehow. :)

I believe the member has to accompany you, like you can be a guest of the member. You cant like have them make a reservation and then just show up with out them.

Finally, a job at Club 33 that I would be good at! :scratchin

In all seriousness, how do you get a job like that and why did they think that was a necessary staff position to have?

I would like to do this because my DGF and I have been together for 26 years now(she is 20 years younger and every room has Disney in it) and talk about a Disney freak, she may be at the top of the list,
but if you ever get in the UK and want a meal that will surpass any expectation you may have, go to Gordon Ramsay At Claridges. You would have a hard time finding any better.

I dined at club 33 for the first (and likely only) time this past Sunday and it truly is a once in a lifetime experience. I sincerely hope that you are able to find someone who can get you in. My "in" came when I least expected it, and I am so thankful for the experience!

No, they don't have to be with you at all. You can go on your own with no problems, your ressie just has to be made by a member. DBFs Mom actually looked into this, she thought it might be a neat perk for their company but with the 10 yr wait list and the $20K fee she decided to skip it. LOL

Seriously...sillier things on there have worked out!
