well today is back to more seasonable temps but the last four days we have been in the high 50's and low 60's.......This is MAINE........and JANUARY.....
well yesterday I walked to the front of the house and down the street to talk to my neighbor who was outside cleaning out her flower area and ......there on the ground were her johnny jump ups......all pretty and looking like an April or May flower........my rhubarb started to push thru the ground too.........totally confused plants up here in maine..

Yup, it's January. At least you are able to enjoy your plants early.
It is so dry here since there hasn't been any rain for a long time, the grass is brown and the plants are starting to die.

Yup it's January and the weather here in Upstate NY is just as confused as yours in Maine

I just hope we don't pay for it with a Bad spring or rainy summer

Well, it's finally snowing...all over my violets.
I was actually glad of the warmer weather for a while, because I got a lot of garden cleanup done that I hadn't done in the fall.
On the down side, the ground is unfrozen, so the voles have been going nuts on my sedum and stuff. Tunnels everywhere, plants w/o roots, very sad.
