This is written by for our son Matt (Eeyore’s Tail on the boards)

I have been away for so long, many of you, probably don’t know me. I was a moderator of several boards. Bob (Bawb) was my (step) father.
I have a hard time calling him Stepfather, because in reality, he was a true father to me & Erin. Please listen to the song “He didn’t have to be” by Brad Paisley, to see how important he was in our lives. I wouldn’t have the strength to survive the dark times I find myself in without Bob’s steadying influence. Because of him, I know I will get through this & will have stood tall.
Bob loved WDW & the Dis. He saw it as a wonderful community of sharing & fun. You all became part of his family & loved every moment he shared with you. In the days following his passing, you all showed what a truly remarkable community you are. Your posts offering sympathy & memories were comforting to us. Through sharing your laughter & tears you have helped us to come to terms with our grief. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Here are my 10 favorite Bob (Bawb) moments:
10-Seeing his face after the Rockin Roller coaster turned him upside down.
09-Finding & getting away with eating his Golden Grahams.
08- Just me & Bob at the Bahstin Gahden (yes, I talk like that too) watching Larry Bird etal.
07-Seeing & sharing his joy when Adam Viniteri kicked that field goal & won the super bowl.
06-Seeing his face light up when he had the chance to take something apart to fix it.
05-Stopping by the house to, just, hang with him.
04-Bob calling me “Buddy”.
03. Bob playing with his American Flyer Trains.
02-Bob playing with my trains.
01. Just me and Bob at Fenway Park.
All time # 1 moment: Bob playing a pregnant woman to Paul Anka’s “She’s Havin’ My Baby” in a talent show at Strawberry Park Campground.
The # 1 thing you never wanted to hear Bob say in the car “oooh, good fart”!!!!
Bob, I miss you more than I can say. You are forever in my heart.

He is missed by all off us, he was such a great guy. It seems weird cause i didn't know him, but i felt i knew him. Whatever im feeling, must be 100 times worse for you, so im glad to know the Dis community is helping.

We all miss him, but he lives on in the podcasts and Kart Kam videos

Thanks for sharing that, Matt. I, too, have a step-dad, and I love him with all my heart. I have a good relationship with my father, but I am very blessed in life to have a step-dad that cares so much for me.
