AMC has something called "Sensory Friendly Films".

On Facebook AMC said: Sensory Friendly Films provides an opportunity for families to enjoy films in a safe and accepting environment. The auditoriums have their lights up, the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing! This month's film is Despicable Me!

We have been going for the last several months. You can bring your own snacks as well since many specail needs people have special diets. Where I go, there has been any where from 12-100 people - that's it!

We're just happy to be able to go to the movies as a family again - who cares what's playing!
