So. At school yesterday we get an assembly.
Principal comes in, calmly walks to the front and proceeds to tell everyone in our school that a girl was found to have FLESH EATING DISEASE.

Thats excellent. Thanks.
Just...

Great.

Anyway, they sent us home to sterilize the school.


Anyone ever have any epidemics in their schools?

We had a bomb threat back in November or October, I don't remember. We were evacuated out of the school and stood out in the cold for like 2 hours and then were bussed to the High School. Of course I was on the last bus and had to stand in the cold for a long long time. We went to the High School and sat in the gym until like 230. We went back to our school, only got stuff from our lockers, we couldn't go back to our classrooms, and went to our gym until dissmissal. It was a horrible day, no homework though.

in january a little kid in my neighborhood died from bacterial meningitus. and his elementary school is in my neighborhood. so they closed down that school for a couple days, but then another kid got it in another school so they decided to close down three city school disctricts; Warwick, West Warwick, and Coventry. So I got out of school for two extra days.

um...no. but at my school if one person gets sick pretty much the entire school gets sick. because we are such a tight community and we only have ike 280 students

My school has the highest number of student with STDs in Central Texas.
I'm proud. Not.

We had a bomb threat a few months ago. One of the police officers at our school saw something suspicious outside of our auditorium, so we were all evacuated for a few hours.
Guess what the "bomb" was?


Table or chair legs taped together with duct tape or something. A friend of mine was the one who did it. He didn't know it would be a bomb. lol. It somehow got out of our tech shop.

Those two things alone would keep me from ever entering again... I couldn't deal with little bugs crawling around under my skin and even if I were to come back, I would never be caught dead in the bathrooms again.

Hmm.. in grade six, a girl at a local school died of meningitis, we all ended up getting vaccinated.

Basically they got everyone out onto the field and just let us hang out for about 3 hours.
One of them was during the summer with 80 billion cicadas, that was hell. The others were fun

And my tech ed teacher was a pedophile. But that isn't really an epidemic. I guess bomb threats arn't either.

At my elementary school, head lice broke out. Nothing terrible like a flesh eating disease though!
