Ten years ago my DH and I went to WDW for our honeymoon, ten years later we return with our TWINS!!! Tyler and Austin!!!! pixiedust: It has always been a joke, that the boys were not MADE IN the U.S.A, they were made in WDW!!!!! :lmao:So my idea is to make T-SHIRTS that say MADE IN WALT DISNEY WORLD Its my 10th B-day today!!!!! This is really corny...... HUH??? I guess it is very special to me that when I went to WDW for my first time,I came back PREGO, with TWINS!!!!! PIXIE DUST ROCKS!!!! pixiedust: I wonder how many babies have been conceived there? :scratchin Great POLL question......! DO you think people will take in offensively, or think it 's not appropriate to advertise?? If this was you what would you do. I would love some feed back or any ideas!!!!!

I don't think it's offensive at all. Quite a cute idea actually! :teeth:

Use to be a cute Disney World commercial on TV about "little surprises" you can come home with on vacation! :teeth: Wish it was still on!

I LOVE it!!! However, after reading some of the other posts... I think they bring up good points about "how much" the boys will "get it" and how embarrassing it might be for them!

I think it would be taken by the majority as you meant it - all in good fun! Great idea! But - when you read a t-shirt you only have a second to
"GET IT" and I am not sure that the way you have worded that your message will register with most people. " MADE IN WALT DISNEY WORLD Its my 10th B-day"

How about - "Made in WDW 10 years ago today - Happy Birthday to me!"

Then get all the characters to sign the shirt as a keep sake.

Just My two cents.....

I'd check with your children to see if they'd be ok with wearing shirts advertising that their parent's had sex. It may be a bit too much for them! :confused3

I think your 10 year old boys would kill you! I think they would be very embarassed. If they were 3 maybe. I would bet they would know what you meant and go yuck mom we don't want everyone reading that on our shirts all day! and if they don't know for sure do you want to explain it all at Disney? let alone when they are 15 and see the pictures. Please think about this.

You know what, I think that is absolutely halarious! I don't know if the kids would like it too much, but I think it is adorable. I must say that is the ultimate pixie dust experience IMO. I'm hoping to have the same luck when we head to WDW for our honeymoon in a few months. I think it is so magical to know that you were conceived in WDW :goodvibes

Maybe make yourself a t-shirt with their pics on it that says "made in WDW" if they are embarrassed to wear one. You might ask on the Creative DISigns board here. They will have some great ideas and someone would probably offer to do a killer design for you.

As an adult, I'd think it funny as heck. As a 10-year old, I would die of embarrassment. Let me go beyond that and say I would be horrified and traumatized and it would put a serious damper on the trip. But that's just me. Maybe your kids are more comfortable discussing their parent's sex life than I was (or am).

I think it's a FAB. idea. I would love to see them!!! Have a great trip!
Also w/ the amount of people you are going w/ it wouldn't hurt to throw a little laughter into the mix!!!! pixiedust:

Well, once I explained to my kids what "made in WDW" meant, there is no way they'd wear shirts like that. If they were two or three, too young to be embarrassed, then I'd see no problem. But 10? I don't think so, unless your kids are a lot different than mine. At 10, I'm sure they'd be equally embarrassed if I wore the shirt advertising that they were made in WDW. It is a cute idea for little ones though.

Yeah umm..cute for Mom, embarrassing for ten year old boys. Do you really think they want to be reminded that Mommy and Daddy got it on at WDW?! :rotfl2:

I understand the sentiment but I have a 10 year old daughter and I would never, ever get her to put on a shirt that said that. She would be horrified. What do you think your boys would say? That's going to be a huge factor.

I would not do it. Imagine what your boy's friends will say if they see the pictures?? Plus you can never predict the reaction of other WDW guests when they see the shirts and it would be a shame if they laugh and poke fun and your boys catch on that they are being laughed at....might ruin the vacation. While I think the sentiment is a bit cute, I think it's too much information...I consider what goes on between a husband and wife really private though and don't discuss it with anyone but my spouse so I would never be comfortable advertising the conception of my children....others who have more liberal views on that might think differently. Have a great trip and hope your boys have a wonderful birthday :)

Sorry, I really wouldn't want to know the facts of where your kids were "made". Maybe you could just do a t-shirt about it being their birthday. :confused3

Even though it is a cute idea, I think it would be embarrassing to the boys to advertise that you conceived them there.

REMEMBER!!!!! I said it was off the wall!!!! I really appreaciated all of your opions. :worship: I was so caught up in the moment of the MAGIC ten years ago. :wizard: I wasn't thinking about repercautions. I WILL NOT take any chances with embarassing our Twins!!!!!! They have a sense of humor and are extremely out-going ,but how the media will react is unknown. We will absolutely advertise it is their birthday!!!!! As we will mine!!!!! I LOVE and adore the fact there is a place to go regarding such a subject with such experienced people. Your suggestions and opions where so ranged with different emotions!!!! OH... By the way for the readers wondering if the boys know that their parents "got busy in Disney?" NO ,they just know that after we went to WDW we found out we were expecting TWINS!!! THEY LOVE THE STORY!!!! I LOVE telling them, it is something very special between us.

:thanks: :thanks: :thanks: :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:
