I really don't watch American Idol much because I think the judges are just plain mean....especially early on in regards to the try outs. I know people find it entertaining, the wackos that show up, and the eye rolling that goes on between the judges when those poor untalented souls show up. Only I think the panel could just say "no thank you"..and move on without all the eye rolling and dramatics. You know..the old saying..."if you don't have anything nice to say...say nothing at all". Yeah.. I know..that wouldn't get ratings. I've just found it very mean spirited ...at least in the beginning of the season. I realize that's what most people seem to find entertaining about it. Makes me cringe to watch. Can't do it. I feel to sorry for those who hope with all their hearts that they'll make the cut ...only to be shot down in such a callous manner.
This clip looked as if it were going to be a similar scenario, until that sweet lady opened her mouth. She put that nasty audience and the panel in their places.
Good for her!
