Is it possible to get the DDE discount on the vouchers at AK?

Hi, They won't discount the meal tickets with DDE...however the tickets are still the better value as pointed out to me by a CM on my last visit to AK...enjoy!

Just confirming. You cannot use DDE to get on discount on the AK vouchers - but they are a good value all by themselves.

Yeah, skip the 20% discount. For $12.38 adult price, you get an entree, drink, then you get a certificate for another drink and a snack.

Take Tusker House (that's where we used ours):

AK Meal Deal: $11.99 or $12.38 with tax
Salmon - $7.99
Large soda - $2.29
Bottle of soda - $2.00
Nestle Drumstick - $3.50
total: $15.78
savings: $3.79 approx without taxes.

or
Rotisserie Chicken - $7.99
Soda - $2.29
Bottled Water - $2.50
Box of popcorn - $2.75
Total: $15.53
savings: $3.54

if you don't think you'll need the additional snack or bottled drink later on, then use the 20% discount, otherwise go with the meal deal.

The "meal deal" has never been a great deal for us since we usually share meals at Tusker House and have never had a snack at AK. Although AK is dh's and my favorite park, it's so hot there that we only stay for 2 hours or so at a time.
