I'm chillin' last night watching the news. A clip comes on about the county library doing their annual sale. Amongst the people getting interviewed, they talk with a Santa looking character.

This has got to be ShanMan! He lives near here and if you listen to what the guy says, it confirms my suspicions (especially for a Dis'r). Watch the clip around 1:40.

Thanks for the heads-up Jen... I was wondering why my ears were burning! Yes, 'tis I... though they misspelled "Shanta Claus" on the news story. It was a lot of fun. They actually trimmed most of the interview, but was happy to make the final cut! Anyhow, now you know the voice behind the smile!

Okay...lemme get this straight.... you remodel (homes & motor homes alike), you are a veritable guru with photo shop or any picture/graphics program, you are the master of google earth, pretty good with a spreadsheet, I have no idea what you do for a living - but am sure you excel at that - AND you find time to read to children and bring them joy by living the role of Santa (er, excuse me....Shanta)? Uh.....what do you do in your spare time?

The DIS-boards, of course! Obviously I haven't had much spare-time recently as I've been so absent of late. It's good to know that I've not been forgotten in my absence! By the way, I got 8 books for my collection, all for the purposes of reading to the little ones. Three were Disney books. So, stop by the 300 loop in early December and let Shanta read you a story!
