I'm pretty surprised they let him on the flight, since this is stated in their "conditions of carriage":

American Airlines' conditions of carriage state that passengers who are "clothed in a manner that would cause discomfort or offense to other passengers" may be refused entry on flights.

and if he were sitting next to me, I CERTAINLY would have been in a state of "discomfort"!

I actually knew who this was going to be about even before I clicked the link. There is a non Dis-friendly website that has multiple photos of this gentleman. BTW, the article is incorrect I think. He typically flies first class on US Airways, not American.

i work at the airport in charlotte. he comes in frequently and he has lots of outfits this is not one of his best! he is really nice and happy to pose for pictures.
