this doesnt make sense flexable date button

I just booked our 35th anniversary trip to Hawaii

since its such a long flight we decided to stay one nite in LA

and booking that separate from the package since it was much cheaper

so Im on SW and the cheapest was 207 each way PP--but if I click on the

flexable date button I get 179 each way (for our dates) PP and then click on continue to select flight

and it still shows 207 this doesn't make sense

does anyone know why the difference in price and why I cant get the 179 fare?

I love booking our trips--hunting for the perfect package at the best price and yet it can be so stressful!!!

Just a guess but maybe they only have one ticket left at the $179 fare. Since you are trying to book two seats, they are showing you the next higher fare.

Try starting your search over for just one person instead of two and see if that lower fare comes up.
