This doesn't make sense! CP ? and advice needed.

Hi all!

I thought that all of you DIS experts might be able to help me!

I just got off the phone after making my ressies for the CP dinner package on Monday, December 6th. The CM has me down for eating at Rose & Crown and attending the 6:45 p.m. show. When I asked for my time when we would be eating, she wouldn't give me a time. She said that I need to check with my hotel (SOG) when we got there and that they would give me my eating time. She just has me down for the 6:45 show. That makes no sense to me and I told her that it didn't make sense. I asked if 6:45 was the time she put me in for PS at Rose and Crown or the show. She kept repeating that this was the show time and that Shades of Green would give me our dining time.

Have you all encountered this? I'm thinking I need to call again and clarify this.

You should have received a dining time and a show time - I would call back to verify

I just saw a thread where people posted their show times and dining times so I know I'm not crazy. The CM kept telling me I was wrong.

That CM should have given you a dining time. We had a good CM. We are going 12/3 and he was very helpful about recommending a dining time. We are doing the 6:45 show and have PS at Le Cellier at 4:20pm.

Isn't it amazing how different the CMs are?

You plan on eating before 6:45 show you need a PS around 4:30 to dine and not feel rushed.It is a pretty good hike from R&C to CP.

Or, eat after the show -- but don't count on being done in time to watch Illuminations, unless you're lucky enough to get a seat on the patio (maybe a bit chilly in December), or can go outside to watch it.

I finally got a chance to call back this evening and spoke with a GREAT CM!!! He fixed the situation and we had a good laugh about it. He said that Disney may be a money maker, but they sure would make some money off people if CM's have people paying for a dinner and then no dinner being scheduled!!

I ended up with a 4:30 p.m. ressie at the Rose & Crown! With young children (8 & 6) the 4:30 works best for us. Glad it is all sorted out....Now onto other PS reservations!
