Third Week of May

I was just thinking about adding a day to our resort reservation and almost every resort is unavailable the whole week of May 13. I was just wondering why they are so busy that week.

We usually go the week of Memorial Day and we have noticed over the years that week has gotten really busy. We were hoping the third week of May wasn't as busy as that week.

Up until Memorial Day weekend used to be a great time to go. I’ve noticed last couple years that it has got extremely crowded (this is when we go). I’ve heard from a friend that they go now end of July and the crowds are not near what they used to be and a good time to go if you can stand the heat. Im from the south so I can deal with it so I’m considering. Although there are no light crowd times anymore maybe the heaviest times have been shifting some?

We will be there that week, the only reason we are going is because we got a pin code, so I figured I wouldn’t be too bad if Disney is trying to fill room, but I checked yesterday, trying to add another day and nothing was available. We only booked in February.

There may also be some algorithms avoiding one night bookings....look for a longer set of dates and see if something's there. Then you might be able to call and have the date added on...

Yep. I tried every variation I could and still nothing. Oh well, we will just keep to the original plan. I was just curious.

Maybe it is. I can't imagine pulling my children out of school 1-2 weeks prior to school dismissing. That would be impossible in high school due to semester exams.

We are pulling our girls out, it was just the last 4 days, but now with the teacher walk out in Oklahoma they will miss an entire week, a week before school gets out.
