Third Track/Theater Results

Personal TSMM experience from this past week: on Tuesday we signed up for Jedi Training at rope drop before heading to TSMM, which meant we were behind the masses that went there first. We waited about 15 minutes. Yesterday we showed up for our FP+ at 12:52pm. The posted wait was 20 minutes, which looked to be accurate from what we saw inside. Pretty good for the middle of the day.

WHOA!!! That sounds awesome! If it is that good now - should be great in Low Season in August. WOOT!

The 3 soarin theaters appear to be really stable now that they are all on the new film and wait times do seem to be coming down but it'll take a few more weeks as locals get their ride and get out of the way :)

NOTE: disney does appear to be fudging the real wait time higher than it really takes.

Ok so if the locals all go on soarin in the next few weeks and it looks as if things are going well for the third track at TSMM then we should be in good shape for our trip in August!! So excited!!!!

yeah, there's always a rush at first when things happen. tsmm is a good example, lines are getting more regular with their wait times and it's a few weeks since it opened the third track. now if summer crowds make it all out of wack that's something else :)

LOL! Guess I'll be part of that summer crowd in the second half of August!!! Just picked my fast passes and we are doing two days at HS so we can do TSMM two times. We are now doing three days at EP just so we could do a fast pass for TT, Soarin, and FEA. I will be watching the boards to see how things change at soarin with the addition of FEA.

Hmmm - it's looking like if you rope drop FEA and then FP+ Test Track - things might not be too hairy at Soarin' - Test Track for end August is estimating a 40 min wait. Soarin' may be lower than that by then. Thoughts? Must pick FP this Friday!

Is Soarin' better off to do in the Morning?

Is the new film 3D at least?

I have to say I was rather disappointed with Soarin' when we went to EPCOT for the first time last year, mainly because there is so much hype about it from the boards.

We rode Soarin' with a FP on Saturday between 11:00/11:30. Posted stand-by wait was 55 minutes with all 3 concourses operating. As that was the day after it opened and a weekend, I'd bet you'll be in pretty good shape come August.

I enjoy that it is not 3D.

I'm glad to hear that the 3 theaters are good right now.

I know Disney has usually inflated the times a bit but I've been reading more and more reports of over-inflated (and it seems to be quite a difference) wait times. Does anyone feel this is the case?

(note* I personally haven't been paying attention to wait times just seeing it on this board more and more)
