I’m back! I did a dining review for our first trip way back in October 2015 and then I started a pre-trip report for our November 2022 trip but never did a trip report for a lot of reasons (the trip was fun, but did not go exactly as hoped), and so here I again, this time committed to do a Dining Review. Unlike in 2022, we have the DDP and a bunch of reservations and I find the food is what really inspires me!

We are a family of 5 (plus one, my mom is with us on this trip).
Me- I’m a SAHM and lifelong Disney fan. I love all things princess. I am also a big nerd and love all things Star Wars. My favorite princess is Ariel. I will eat pretty much anything and no matter where I go, I plan my trips around the food, and my last trip taught me Disney is more fun for me if I have table service reservations to look forward too.
M- My husband. He is a little less of a Disney fanatic than me, although he does enjoy it. He loves Star Wars and was in awe of Galaxy’s Edge last trip. His favorite Disney character is Mr. incredible. He is also good motivated and he is excited about our third trip Food & Wine.
A- My oldest child. His He was 4 on our first trip to Disney, now he is 13. A Disney adult, although still a very picky eater. It is a good thing that we have mostly buffets planned
. Although, hilariously, he won’t eat pizza but he loves sushi. His favorite Disney character is Stitch. The thing he is looking forward to most for in our trip is the Halloween party and doing the Muppets experience again.
N- My middle child. He is a serious little soul. He was 2.5 on our first trip and has very few memories of it but he loved our last trip and he has been so excited for this one (he is 11). Food is less of a priority to him than rides and experiences, but he is always willing to try new things. His favorite Disney character is Grogu. He is excited for everything, but especially the Halloween Party.
B- My youngest. She is 8 and was not born the first time we went to Disney, although she was in princess heaven last trip. She will eat anything, is always up for an adventure and is so excited to see all the princesses. Her favorite Disney Princess is Snow White (although she also loves Elena of Avalaor). The thing she is most looking forward to is Bibbiditty Bobbitty Boutique.
Mom- My mom. She is retired and her joy in life is doing things with her grandchildren. She is also a picky eater. Last trip we stayed at AKL and she really did not enjoy any of the food offerings there, hopefully she fares better this time. Her favorite Disney Princess is Cinderella.
We have several reservations:
Akershus (Breakfast)
Biergarten (Dinner)
T-Rex (Lunch)
1900 Park Faire (Dinner)
Tusker House (lunch)
Hollywood & Vine (dinner)
Crystal Palace (breakfast)
Four of these (Akershus, Biergarten, h&V and CP) are repeats from our first trip in 2015, the other three are completely new to us.
As I am writing this, we are sitting at the airport, waiting for our connecting flight. A few more hours and we will be eating at Disney!
