You don't get an email from Disney. You'll get an email from the company you bought the tickets from.Normally, once you purchase a ticket through a reputable broker, how long is it normally before you receive an email from Disney with the actual ticket number to be able to link it to MDE ?
Found this with a Google search:
We just bought a few of those 5-day hoppers with water park addition. We got 2 adults and 1 child...and saved $182 total versus buying just the regular 5-day hopper directly from Disney. $182!!! That's enough of a savings that we may actually go down a day early and use that money to get a value or moderate room our first night before moving over to OKW.
The buying process was simple and 2-3 days after buying, we got our ticket numbers and those are now attached to each family member on MDE. I can tell you that our tickets were Expedia vouchers, though I can't say every ticket Boardwalk Ticketing sells is the same.
Hope this helps - although they didn't mention WHERE they got their ticket numbers from....
Mine shows to be an Expedia Voucher also.
And the voucher doesn't have a ticket # on it?
Boardwalk Ticketing told me I would get an email directly from Disney. Thanks for any insight.
I know Boardwalk Ticketing is being referred by another reputable site, but this is just really sketchy. This is exactly how the last fraudulent company did things. They took. Your money and then used stolen credit cards to buy tickets directly from Disney or other authorized resellers. They should be the ones sending you the ticket information, not an unrelated company.Mine shows to be an Expedia Voucher also.
No ticket number, just voucher number.
I am unclear what I should have done, however, what I did was call Disney Internet help, gave them the voucher number (along with all the security answers) and they linked it to MDE for me.

I don't understand what you're saying. Disney shouldn't be linking tickets to your MDE account unless you purchased those tickets from Disney. When you purchase tickets from a third party, they should send you the information, and then you are responsible for linking the tickets. After Disney linked my ticket to MDE, in a few minutes I received an email from Boardwalk Ticketing with the same information.

That was my first thought as well. It sounds like the sketchy outfit that kept popping up, reselling Expedia vouchers, and then getting shut down. I hope everything works out for the OP.I know Boardwalk Ticketing is being referred by another reputable site, but this is just really sketchy.
