Thinking of Switching From CR to Polynesian

OK. We are booked at the CR from 7/28 to 8/6/05. I want a big room and want to be on the monorail. We will be travelling with a 1 year old and a 3 year old and they will need room in the resort to move around. (We love WL, but the rooms are too small).

Now, my dad, who is going with us, LOVES WL, too. Do you think that the Polynesian or CR is comparable? DH and I have stayed at the Polynesian before and I know the rooms are BIG! Please help me make a decision! Thanks!

Well I wont actually see my CR room til Dec 7 I have heard they are very big rooms. I would feel safe saying they are probably very close to the same size if not the same size.

Rooms at Poly and CR are about the same size. Both are the largest rooms in WDW. Since you are fans of WL, I would recommend the CR as they have a boat that shuttles back and forth to the WL. Makes for an easy visit.

the rooms at the cr are huge and the hotel is great for kids. make sure you take them to chef mickeys they will love it. have a great trip you wont be dissapointed with the cr

We have stayed at both the CR and the Polynesian many times. Both are great for kids and have very large rooms. Some of the rooms at the Polynesian are larger than the CR. Both have character meals although Chef Mickey's probably has the advantage as far as food offerings go. The pool at the Poly is better than the CR.

You can either take the monorail or boat to MK from both resorts. The beach at the Poly is great for watching the fireworks and the ELP.
