Thinking of splitting my stay into a split stay

Do VALUE or MOD resort first and then Upgraded Resort or a lateral move.

Take advantage of the free Water Park Pass for #2 stay and then eat dinner back at your resort or go to Disney Springs after check in / possibly watch the movie outside that's scheduled for your resort

Do a week split often. I find 3/4 the best so that the second leg feels longer and less rushed. Easy to give the bags to Concierge to transfer especially considering you'd be staying in the same area.

Same here. We do split stays most of the time (husband actually likes splits because he feels like he has 2 vacations. ha) The best for us is 3/4, 4/4 etc. We have done a 1 night because we had to and that was the one we didn't care for and would not purposely do. You can't plan on when the new room will be done and that day is stressful (to us) after checking out of previous room and seems like a total waste of time/money...even points, as we're DVC.

I ended up being able to get a Beach Club Villas. It only let me book for more than I originally wanted for a split when I tried to make it shorter the room disappeared, but I’m sure I could call to have a day or two removed I need to call to remove days from my Poly room anyway. If I leave it as is I’d only be in Poly for the last two nights of my trip. I feel like that’s too short. I think 4/3 split makes a lot of sense so it doesn’t feel too short in either

I also am not really a fan of split-stays but we’re doing a 6/5 split at a 2-bd at OKW and then my mom and I are moving over to WL. I wouldn’t have minded stayed at OKW the whole time but after extended family leave, we would’ve needed to live rooms anyway (2-bd is way too big for just 2.

I love to fully unpack and hate the thought of living out a suitcase and then repacking. I guess with a long enough split, it’s fine. We tend to take long trips but it’s just such a hassle that we end up staying put.
