now that DB is gone. What would you suggest? She is living in Norfolk and all of her family is in Florida.

TIA for your help!

Now THAT'S a great idea!!!

Ummm, gift certificates or gift cards for some takeout for dinner when she is just too wrung out to cook.

Something to pamper herself with from Bath and Body works or some such.

Some comfort food type snacks

Phone card if she will be able to call your brother

A card to tell her you are thinking of her.

What a sweet sweet SIL you are!!! So awesome

Good suggestions! It is her and a 2 1/2 YO - I'm sure there will be plenty of nights she is too wrung out to cook! The good thing is she works for a family-owned business and the people are truly good people. It wouldn't surprise me to hear they are her surrogate family, especially with DB gone.

Well now SILs like you don't come along every day!!!:)

How about a gift cert. to a local salon that has a spa? Massage, manicure, pedicure....something special just for her!
Does she enjoy wine? Send a nice bottle of wine and some cheese.
A new Disney movie for she and the 2 1/2 year old to watch together...with appropriate toys from TDS!
Does she have any hobbies? Send something she needs for that.
Like to read? Gift cert. to a book store...preferable a Borders or Barnes and Noble where she can get a special coffe and snack.
Does she like to work out? Gift cert to a local gym.
