I used to get Peeps and malted chocolate balls in the shape of eggs in my Easter basket. I hated those things. I never had the heart to say it though because I thought it would hurt the Easter Bunny's feelings.

Wy wife and kids love peeps...I on the other hand.....

Kat also made some chocolate covered peeps after Easter...I didn't like those either......just a waste of good chocolate as far as I was concerned...but my wife and kids liked them too.

Grandma's candy stash was a thing of wonder.

She passed away when I was 18.

I wish I could tell her that 33 years later, she's still a part of my soul.

I hope she knows.

I'm am convinced my grandma knows that I also use my oven for stashing away my favorite Little Debbie's. My grandma's candy stash was amazing too but, I 'll never forget when she let me in on her little secret of where she kept the good stuff!
