Thinking of driving from NJ... need advice

We drive from Philly, and if we're heading out early AM, we try to make it to Georgia before calling it a night. If we're leaving on a Friday after work, we usually avoid -most- of the traffic in and around DC, which is key, because its the only part of the whole trip that just bytes.

I drove down with my wife, two daughters 4 and 9 months at that time, and my mom in January of 07. I left in mid afternoon on a Saturday, and pulled over for a 1 hour snooze somewhere in Florida just past Jacksonville. Got into the Disney grounds around 7 a.m, got lost trying to find our hotel, but managed to get their by 8 a.m. We got checked in and headed out to the Animal Kingdom for the day. Left there about 5 and went back to the hotel to get some much needed sleep.

We will be flying when we go again next year. Here is a good site I found for all kinds of information for driving down I95, including where to get the cheapest gas.

Ok, looks like I haven't posted enough to post a link. Here it is, just take out the spaces
