Thinking of buying more!!

How do add on's work?
Now that my family has grown I may need more points.
I have 210 at BWV would like 50 more.
Can i buy through DIsney or do i have to go through outside outfit.What is the current going rate for points?
If i buy say 100 points at Saratoga with same use year that does not help me get 11 months reservations does it?

Here are a couple of ways you can get more points....

1). Add on through Disney. It will be the same use year as your current contract. Points are subject to availability. BWV, OKW, VWL, BCV are sold out, but small add-ons do appear. Ask your guide to put you on a waiting list.

2). Buy resale. Small contracts are rare, but available. You get whatever use year is on the resale contract.

3). Check out the Timeshare Store website. It will give you a feel for the asking price on resales.

4). You get an 11 month booking window at your home resort, so if you add on 100 pts for SSR, you can book at 11 months out with those 100 points.

Be carefull. Once you start adding on, it is hard to quit. I am currently working on my second add-on.

You're so right! I've added on 13 or 14 times so far. At last I think I'm done, though.

how much and when did you add ?

Is there a chance of only getting 50 or so points??

If I am not mistaken, you can add-on as little as 25 points for cash, 50 or more for disney financing and 100 or more for magical beginning benefits.
