So I love Disneyland and I live in LA and we all have passes. I want to get 100 points.

Is it worth it?

They told me it would cost around 20k. Am I nuts?

Do you get incentives when you purchase this?

If you buy resale, you can save a few. I think gcv is going for appx $125pp right now, or $12,500 for the purchase.

You still have all the benefits of a direct purchase, except the ability to trade your points for cruises, adventures and select hotels. These "restrictions" are not cost effective anyway.

They have also closed the gcv Waitlist and you cannot buy direct right now. FYI.

No you're not crazy. Gcv is notoriously hard to get a room unless you own there (all dvc owners can trade into other dvc properties at the 7mo mark). There are only 46 rooms.

You'll be able to go yearly and enjoy the room. You can also go to aulani (if the rooms you want are available at the 7 mo mark), a popular west coast destination.

Have fun!!

If you live in California and go to DL, you'll want to buy at GCVillas, not the ones in WDW. Otherwise, you'll never be able to book GCVillas.

The incentives is getting to stay at VGC for 40+ years for cheaper rates, but this is a long term commitment and it is best if you can plan 11 months in advance

Look at the VGC point chart to estimate what your needs are and could be in the future

Do you understand what 100 points will buy you at VCG. Some of the rooms can need quite a lot of points depending on what you want to book.
