DH signed me up for the digital photography course for my birthday last August. I completed Lessons 1-3, the Weekend Workshops, and the 1st set of assignments. I have a couple of thoughts. On one hand, I DO look at things differently and my pictures are better than they were before I started. On the other hand, all I'm doing, for the most part, is READING from the CD-ROMs. Not loving that part. I have received the 2nd set of lessons. I completely am NOT interested in lesson 4, which is digital aquisition (scanning a print into digital form), so I haven't done it. The course was written around 1999-2000 and seriously needs updating. What I really want to learn is how to use Photoshop, and if I stick with it (ie..keep paying the tuition), it'll get to that, but, again, I'll have to read everything. I don't learn well like that. I need someone to show me. So, I don't know what I'll do at this point. There is good information. If you can learn this way and are self-motivated it might be good for you.
