Thinking about it...

I am just now starting to consider a Disney Cruise for the first week in October (sometime Oct 4-11)...my boys are on Fall Break and my birthday is the 3rd.

Any thoughts? Advice? For...someone new to Disney at Sea

Go for it!
They will love it and you will also!!!

My son is now 7 and has cruised 4 times on Disney already - even during school time. There is no better education than experiencing the world first hand.

We always took our kids out of school to travel !!!!Teachers are almost always willing to give them homework or a special project ,depending on their age...You will all have a WONDERFUL time
